I recently saw a cartoon depicting a doctor speaking with a slightly overweight patient.  The caption of the doctor speaking read, “Would you rather exercise one hour per day or be dead 24 hours a day?”

To me, the correct option seemed obvious.  To others, I believe the choice posed seemed a bit harsh. As I thought more about it, I realized this question is quite possibly being avoided by millions around the world!

We are driven to succeed…make more money…own businesses…own homes…take vacations…retire early…live the good life! Though these are extremely desirable and important goals, I must say NONE of them will matter if you are DEAD!!  For me, to dance around this issue would be to side step my passion.  I cannot do it!!!

You do not have to be part of the obesity epidemic.

With statistical data across this country clearly showing obesity on the rise, the truth MUST be told. Obesity is in epidemic proportions. There are no arguments that obesity has negative short and long term health implications…not to mention the emotional effect.

I have actually seen reports stating obesity “will be” 42% by the year 2025. How alarming and sad! It DOES NOT have to be so. We can change this dire prediction, and it begins with you and me. The two main causes of obesity are improper nutrition and inactivity.

Please pay attention! We cannot be part of the problem any longer; we must become the solution. If you are DEAD, you cannot enjoy earthly success, wealth, businesses, homes, family, friends, and fellowship.  Could I be any more clear?

2 Ways to Increase Your Life Span

We have address BOTH the nutritional element and the physical piece.  In addressing both of these issues and increasing your likelihood of more time on this earth, you must do two things:

  1. Research proper nutrition. Put REAL foods in your body. Experience real results!
  2. Research a balanced activity (exercise) plan. Incorporate this plan into your daily and weekly routine. Enjoy the benefits!

Listen, if you want more time, I challenge you with all that I have within me! Feed your body correctly and get active! Let’s increase our time together and enjoy success, health, wealth, and a longer, higher quality life.
