As we get older, obviously us males start losing muscle mass, and after age 30 it just gets worse and worse. I play a lot of golf with my buddies, and they were always out driving me and I’m like, “What is going on here?”
So I started trying to figure out, “What can I do to offset some of this?” That’s what brought me into the clinic where I met with Drs. Mark and Michele, and got on a nutrition program and an exercise program.
Now I’m making progressive steps… Cutting things out of my diet, getting on testosterone, taking proper supplements… Dr Mark has really helped me fine-tune things in a way that makes a difference and helps me see results.
I’ve been able to put on muscle mass, which is what I was wanting to do. Dr. Mark told me early on that health is 80% nutrition, 20% exercise, and I was blown away by that. I thought it was maybe 50/50 or so, but it just goes to show you that you can’t out-exercise a bad diet.
Dr. Mark, Michelle and the staff are all very good people and they approach your health from a mind, body, spirit standpoint. It’s not just about getting muscled up or slimmed down. They try to figure out what’s really going on in your life.
Now at 62 years old, when I look in the mirror, I feel like I’m in as good a shape as I was when I was 35. So it’s been a good journey for me!
